TRAVEL GLOBETROTTER WITH ROSLYN DEE

Boyle returns in Body and Soul with a fine offer Aidan Boyle, the man behind the Brazilbased Body and Soul Adventures, has brought his expertise back to home territory with programmes on offer based at Harvey's Point in Donegal. On the shores of Lough Eske, the forthcoming weekend programmes are designed, according to the Body and Soul people, to have a "maximum impact on your fitness and creatively combine exhilarating activities with a nutritionally balanced diet".

They include early-morning yoga, hiking, horse-riding and cycling, all topped off with a soothing massage at the end of the day to ease tired limbs.

Groups are small . . . limited to 12 people . . .and the activity programme is complemented by a balanced 1200calorie-a-day vegetarian diet.

There are two weekend programmes now booking, with 'Renew U' weekends planned for next weekend, 9-12 November and again, after the festive season, for the weekend of 18-21 January. The package includes three nights' accommodation plus all meals and snacks, two full body massages, five or six yoga classes and all activities. The weekend is priced at 820.

The long-haul, tailormade-holiday specialists will also offer a dedicated department in Cork, dealing specifically with First and Business Class requests, catering for those who prefer to travel up-front. To celebrate the Cork opening, a number of 'specials' are on offer, all with Cork departures. Head for New York, for example, and stay at the three-star Washington Square hotel for three nights for 889, inclusive of flights with Virgin via London Heathrow, an offer that applies to departures until 31 March 2007.

Or how about a 14-day fly/drive package to Sydney where, for 1299 until 9 December, you'll get return flights via London with Malaysia Airlines and 14 days' car hire?

Contact the Cork office on 021 4648800 or check out the deals on the website at www. trailfinders. ie Killarney blessed early with Spirit of Christmas Christmas is coming early to Killarney this year in the form of Spirit of Christmas, the Broadway show that the critics have dubbed 'the grandest Yuletide extravaganza this side of New York'.

Capturing all the atmosphere of the festive season, the show presents an array of songs from Broadway's well-known shows with the Spirit of Christmas itself featuring as the headline event for 'Christmas in Killarney', an annual event that runs this year from 30 November until 6 January and features all manner of Christmas fun from Santa in his grotto to a Christmas craft and food fair and a 'holiday on ice' rink. The Spirit of Christmas show is on at the INEC from 5 to 10 December with tickets priced at 25 for adults and 12.50 for kids. With the Gleneagle and the Brehon hotels both located beside the INEC, it's worth noting that they are offering accommodation and ticket packages, with an overnight on a B&B basis and a show ticket priced from 99 per person sharing. For more details log on to www. inec. ie or ring the box office on 064 71555.

Airtours open generous summer deals Thinking ahead to sunnier days, Airtours have good-value, early booking offers in 14 different destinations, if you can book now for next summer . . . and there's also the usual 'Free Child Places' and 'Free Insurance' carrots to further sweeten the pill. Seven nights, for example, in the Club Julian Aparthotel in Turkey's Marmaris will set you back a reasonable 309 per person sharing on a self-catering basis.
