AdVic criticises justice system

ONE OF the founders of a group that represents the families of homicide victims has criticised the Irish criminal justice system and claimed that "justice is rarely realised for victims".

Joan Deane of the Advic group, whose son was killed in a savage attack in Drogheda in 2003, lashed out at the system this weekend. She claimed the system of sentencing in murder and manslaughter cases was imbalanced.
