It seems that the European Tour will have to examine the issue of drug testing in the near future, but at the moment the PGA Tour is coming under growing pressure to make its position clear on testing. Not that any policy on doping would have made much of a difference at the recent Ryder Cup according to Golf Digest's wry columnist Bob Verdi.
"If anyone had asked for a urine sample, the US Ryder Cup players would have missed the bottle, " was Verdi's verdict.
