AIB MUNSTER CLUB SHC SEMI-FINALS
ERINS OWN (Cork) v WOLFE TONES (Clare)
Pairc Ui Chaoimh, 2.00
Referee: S Roche (Tipperary)
With Brian Corcoran's preparations compromised because of a cold for two weeks and a business trip to Miami the week before last, we expect Brian Lohan and his team to just about tip this battle.
Verdict: Wolfe Tones
TOOMEVARA (Tipperary) v MOUNT SION (Waterford)
Nenagh, 2.00
Referee: D Kirwan (Cork)
On paper Mount Sion have the better forwards but Eoin Kelly is struggling with form. The venue counts in Toome's favour too. With Ken McGrath at centre forward though, we have a feeling Mount Sion will be the ones to win by a point.
Verdict: Mount Sion
AIB CONNACHT CLUB SHC FINAL
ATHLEAGUE (Roscommon) v LOUGHREA (Galway)
Athleague, 2.15
Referee: B Kelly (Westmeath)
Wouldn't it make sense to have some competition for the senior hurling champions from counties outside hurling's top 12 or 15 counties?
Athleague don't have a prayer here but they'd have one against the champions of Carlow or Derry.
Verdict: Loughrea
AIB LEINSTER CLUB SFC SEMI-FINAL
UCD (Dublin) v RHODE (Offaly)
Parnell Park, 2.30
Referee: S Doyle (Wexford)
Rhode pushed last year's Leinster champions, Kilmacud, to a replay and Kilmacud got within a point of UCD in the Dublin semi-final last month, so Rhode will be very competitive here. They also have Niall McNamee today, while UCD will not, but the students should shade a tight game, especially with their greater familiarity of the venue.
Verdict: UCD
AIB ULSTER CLUB SFC SEMI-FINAL
BALLINDERRY (Derry) v ERRIGAL CIARAN (Tyrone)
Ballinderry, 2.15 Referee: S
McGonigle (Donegal) Neither side have had ideal preparation, Errigal with the distraction of the Enniskillen appeal, and Ballinderry because of the onesided nature of their win over Mayobridge last week, but we fancy Peter Canavan to do enough.
Verdict: Errigal Ciaran
AIB ULSTER CLUB SFC QUARTER-FINAL REPLAY
CARGIN (Antrim) v CLONTIBRET (Monaghan) Clones, 2.15
Referee: M Hughes (Tyrone)
Let's just hope no one's hurt and no one fights this time.
Verdict: Clontibret
