WHAT WON'T HAPPEN IN RUGBY THIS WEEK
Compiled by Ciaran Cronin

Half an hour after Ireland's match with Australia at Lansdowne Road, Joe O'Reilly and Sons Contractors roll into Dublin 4 with their wrecking ball to start work on the demolition of the old ground. Barely 30 seconds before Joe gives the thumbs up to crank the machines into gear, a group of IRFU of"cials are seen desperately sprinting from the Berkeley Court. The "ttest of the lot, Philip Browne, just about gets there before any harm can be done.

"There was no talk of any other game in the papers, " said Mr O'Reilly after he "nally talked his men down, " but Mr Browne has informed me that Hawaii are playing Ireland here next weekend so we'll have to head back to Cavan."
