GOOD Taste may have found the best chocolate dessert in Dublin. The Tea Room at The Clarence serves a warm Araguani chocolate fondant with Guanaja sauce and a remarkable stout ice cream. Choc aficionados will recognise Araguani and Guanaja as Grand Cru chocolates from the prestigious Valrhona chocolatiers, both using 70%+ cocoa.
To experience this molten treat, book a table at The Tea Room where the lunch menu is excellent value. The new Market Menu offers two courses for 26 and promises to have you in and out in 45 minutes flat. They'll even supply you with an egg timer so you can keep them in check!
Of course, if you want the chocolate dessert you'll have to stay longer and pay more. It's 12 and worth every cent.
