HIS face might be recognisable from his days as the dashing doctor in Glenroe, but nowadays Mario Rosenstock is better known as the voice behind the Gift Grub sketches on the Ian Dempsey Breakfast Show on Today FM.
Gift Grub was born in 1999 and seven years later Gift Grub characters Bertie, Hector, Roy and Daniel are still as popular as ever.
Mario originally wanted to be a professional tennis player but with his seventh Gift Grub album (Gift Grub Vol. 7) currently at Number One in the charts, it is just as well he hung up his tennis shoes and turned to comedy instead.
