Tallaght Cross: from 300,000 Village life in Tallaght
Brenda McNally

FOLLOWING strong sales at launch in October this year, Hooke & MacDonald released the second phase at the 200m Tallaght Cross landmark development in Tallaght.

Built by Danninger, construction at the Section 23 scheme is well under way and many units are already completed. The new phase will see the release of a further 60 units due for completion from next spring as well as the launch of show units at the development.

Comprised of large, goodvalue one-, two- and threebed units, prices at the development which offers 85% tax relief start at 300,000.

Designed by Mahony Pike Architects, the development offers residents the best of both worlds, the community atmosphere of a village with the excitement of a city.

The apartments are bright with generous balconies and full-height glazing. Other features include fitted kitchens, fitted wardrobes, tiled ensuites in most and low-cost electric heating systems.

Elevated landscaped gardens provide outdoor spaces offering views of the Dublin mountains.

Residents will have everything on hand, as well as street-level retail units, including Marks & Spencer as anchor tenant. Tallaght Cross is just minutes from Tallaght shopping centre, Tallaght Hospital, the Civic Theatre, South Dublin Library, a new football stadium at Sean Walsh Park, not to mention numerous cafes, bars and restaurants, and the Red Luas line at its doorstep.

Price: one-bed 300,000;

two-bed 370,000 Agent: Hooke & MacDonald, 01-631 8402
