All my money goes on. . .
A lot of stuff by a lot of people that I respect and meet through Candy. I buy an awful lot of design books and magazine and DVDs and vinyl toys.
I really admire. . .
Other people getting up off their arses and turning pub chats into reality. The last two years doing Candy I've met a lot of people who I think are exceptional in that they have a vision of what they want to do but they have no agenda.
My favourite building is. . .
The family home down in Wexford. It's freezing but it's where the laughs are.
When I was a child I wanted to be. . .
A helicopter pilot
My biggest regret is. . .
I don't really have any. I was offered Central St Martins but for me, Dublin is probably the best city in Europe at the moment, and probably anywhere.
My fail safe dinner-party dish is. .
My gourmet burgers. They take me around an hour and a half to make. There's slow roasted peppers, brie cheese, Marks & Spencer's jalapeno peppers, soft rolls, mustards, barbecue relishf it just keeps going on.
I wish I'd never worn. .
Woolly trousers and a woolly jumper and a really itchy shirt that my granny bought me. I was about 13. I just live in cotton now.
I really dislike people who. . .
Put more effort into slagging something off than they do changing it.
You wouldn't know it, but I am very good at. . .
Persuading people to do things. The 50 x 50 was the result of hundreds of emails.
The success of Candy is down to persuading people all around the world that this is for the benefit of all and not for the economic gain of anyone.
You wouldn't know it, but I am very bad at. . .
DIY. I detest it. I can spend hours labouring over a piece of type or a layout but give me a drill and I'll kill you.
My ultimate Sunday would be spent. . .
Computer-free with a good coffee and a nice walk. I work six days a week and I work long days so Sundays are my day off.
