YOU may still find it hard to win the pub-stool argument of whether Hova is a better rapper than Biggy or Tupac, but his flow is second to none, dead or alive. And the most satisfying thing about a Jay-Z record is that there's no filler, no skits, no interludes, just sharp lyrics and some of the best beats in hiphop today. It's a darker, less jumpy record than previous efforts and lacks the upbeat instant hits of 'The Blueprint' and the 'Black Album', but the coherence of the full package is outstanding and illustrates Jay-Z's maturity in a game full of young rudderless MCs.
