The American Airlines flight from Washington to Dallas made an emergency landing at Nashville when travellers smelled burning. A search of the plane uncovered burnt matches under a seat. The passenger admitted she struck the matches because she was embarrassed by the smell she was making. She was released without charge from police custody but was not allowed back on the jet.
