KIA created quite a stir when it announced a seven-year powertrain (engine and transmission warranty) and five-year bumper-tobumper full car warranty on the new European-built family car, the Cee'd.
But now the company has gone one better. Following a number of consultation forums with the public in Europe, the company has decided to give a full seven-year bumper-to bumper warranty which will even further increase residual values. Ireland is the first country to get the new model from the factory in Slovakia. The Cee'd has just gone on sale here.
