Teenager killed in Co Down crash

A 15-YEAR-OLD boy became the latest victim on our roads when he was killed in a road crash in Co Down. He was knocked down by a car on the Ballydoogin Road in Downpatrick at about 9.20pm on Friday. The teenager was taken to hospital, where he later died. Police in the North have appealed for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact them.

The accident occurred on the same day that a 30-year-old and his eightyear-old son were killed in Crumlin, Co Antrim. Two other children were taken to hospital following the accident.
