PEUGEOT has unveiled details of its new 207 Coupe Cabriolet, successor to the 206 CC. It will arrive in the spring and has the same four-seat design as the 206.
The electric folding for the 207 CC is entirely automatic, a simple button transforming the coupe into a cabriolet in 25 seconds.
The 206 CC led the way in the small-car B segment and is the world's best-selling small Coupe Cabriolet. At launch, the 207 CC will be available with two petrol engines and one HDi diesel engine.
All the engines are combined with a five-speed manual gearbox. A four-speed automatic gearbox with a Porsche System Tiptronic sequential control will be available on the new 1.6-litre 16v 120 bhp petrol engine.
To protect occupants, when the 207 CC is in the Cabriolet configuration, an active rollover protection system has been installed. The boot has a "spacesaver" spare wheel and 449 litres of luggage space. Prices will be announced nearer the launch date.
