500-YEAR-OLD BODIES FOUND IN DUBLIN

ARCHAEOLOGICAL experts are to be called in to date the skeletal remains of two human bodies discovered at a building site in Rathfarnham this weekend.

A garda spokesperson said the remains appeared to be "in the region of 500 years old" but added that a more precise dating process would be done later. "It is an unusual find and one that will be out of our hands. We'd be unlikely to find witnesses in this case, " the spokesman said. The bodies were uncovered during the renovation of a property.
