JOYCE CAN MAKE HIS MARK AS HE REPLACES PIETERSEN FOR ENGLAND

Ed Joyce can make his mark as a batsman in England's middle order when he replaces Kevin Pietersen, according to chairman of selectors David Graveney.

Andrew Strauss, Michael Vaughan and Ian Bell will make up the top three against New Zealand in Hobart on Tuesday. And Joyce, who has opened in his three matches so far, is set to follow them.

"It will be great for him to show what he can do because I believe he's a very talented player who has a huge future, " said Graveney of Joyce.
