Lis Na Dara, Dundalk: from ?240,000 Village atmosphere close to Dublin
Brenda McNally

HOUSE-HUNTERS and investors looking for value for money with an easy commute to the city will be interested in the launch of the second phase at Lis Na Dara in Dundalk.

The up-market development of 423 units saw strong sales in the first phase last year and developers Mount Avenue and Lis Na Mere Developments will release a further 35 two- and threebed units from the on-site sales office on Carrick Road, Dundalk, 27-28 January from 2pm to 4pm.

Located on Carrick Road, one of Dundalk's most sought-after addresses, Lis Na Dara has the benefits of a village atmosphere as well as being close to the town centre and train station.

This gives residents easy access to both Dublin and Belfast via the M1/N1 and the Enterprise intercity railway service.

The second phase sees the release of two- and three-bed terraced houses spanning 82sqm (883sq ft) and 96sqm (1,038sq ft) as well as the first release of the two-bed apartments spanning 62sqm (670sq ft) and three-bed duplex units spanning 98sqm (1,063sq ft).

All houses feature well laidout, spacious accommodation with a very high-quality finish.

The layout for the two- and three-bed terraced houses is similar and boasts good sized sitting rooms with feature fireplace as well as large kitchen/dining/family room to the rear.

Upstairs, accommodation includes a master bedroom with en-suite, a second double room, a large single bedroom and main bathroom. All homes have large gardens with driveways.

The apartments and duplexes also make maximum use of available space and light and have similar layouts.

The two-bed units are located at ground-floor level with the three-bed duplex units above.

The bay-windowed sitting room to the front creates a light-filled interior and comes with feature fireplace. To the rear, the open-plan kitchen/dining area includes fully-fitted kitchen and patio doors leading to the large back garden.
