THE C-XF is the new face of Jaguar and it gives an insight into how the company's designers see the shape of forthcoming models. The concept is a four-door saloon and has been designed by the same team that produced the award-winning XK Sports GT range in 2005.
Jaguar say the team took inspiration from the ideas of company founder William Lyons, whose greatest cars were the 1950 Mark VII and the 1959 Mark 2 saloons.
The snarling face of the Jaguar symbol is retained on the mesh grille, behind which will be a 4.2-litre supercharged V8 engine and the profile of the car is intended to give a slim look with an air of aggression.
Inside, there are individual sports style bucket seats, lots of brushed aluminium and carved poplar wood.
