Man in court over Cavan stabbing



A 22-YEAR-OLDman was due to appear before a special sitting of Cavan District Court last night following a stabbing in Cavan town early yesterday. The incident took place in the Aughnaskerry housing estate.

The 20-year-old victim was in a stable condition in the Mater Hospital in Dublin.
