AIB LEAGUE DIVISION ONE DUNGANNON 20 LANSDOWNE 8 Stevenson Park
DUNGANNONmade light of a number of injury problems in proving too strong for Lansdowne at Stevenson Park yesterday.
Lansdowne looked the part early on and a try by John Coleman after 30 minutes brought them within two points of their opponents, but they were never able to build on this and actually went the remainder of the match without scoring. Dungannon had no such problems.
Out-half McCarter opened their account with a penalty after five minutes before scoring a breakaway try from half way and then adding the conversion.
Five minutes before the break Neil Patterson added a second for the home side, converted by McCarter.
