WEXFORD MOURNS THE PASSING OF ONE OF THEIR GREATEST HURLERS

Wexford has lost one of its great hurling legends with the passing of Padge Kehoe after a short illness. Padge was the holder of three All Ireland medals and was part of the great 1950's county team. Over a glittering career the Enniscorthy man also won six Leinster senior hurling titles, two national hurling league titles, four Oireachtas senior hurling titles and 12 senior county championships, including three in football. He also managed the 1968 Wexford senior hurling team to All Ireland glory over Tipperary.

Padge is survived by his wife and two sons.
