HIGH WINDS CAUSE HAVOC ON OPENING DAY OF SKI CHAMPIONSHIPS



The opening race in this year's World Ski Championships in Are, Sweden were postponed yesterday because of high winds. The men's superG has been delayed until Monday after a night of heavy snowfall on the Olympia course. The women's super-G is scheduled for today and is still expected to go ahead with temperatures due to drop.
