Northside hostel across two buildings offers development potential

TWO adjacent three-storey over-basement Georgian properties on Blessington Street, Dublin 7, near the Mater Hospital, are for sale at auction with an asking price in the region of Euro2.6m. The interconnected properties have functioned as a longestablished hostel and selling agents GWD anticipate that the new purchaser may opt to continue offering tourist accommodation at the location.

No 32 Blessington Street measures 2,766sq ft; No 33 measures 2,299sq ft. There is a two-storey mews to the rear of No 32 which measures 667sq ft. A yard measuring 23ft by 28ft offers vehicular access from Berkeley Place.

The basement area has three rooms measuring 1,441sq ft. The ground floor comprises two large interconnected rooms covering a total space 1,300sq ft.

The first floor has five rooms and two shower rooms and extends to 1,162sq ft. The second floor has four rooms and two shower rooms and measures 1,162sq ft.

The two-bed mews at rear and the yard with wide access out onto the street offer development potential.

The properties will be auctioned on Tuesday 27 February.

For further information contact GWD on 01-874 9181.
