I drive/ride. . . A Jaguar XK. I love my Jag, it's beautiful. I also have a bike that I tend to use when I'm going shopping locally.
If I have time to myself I. . . think I would just enjoy the peace and quiet, but then I can't remember the last time I did have time to myself!

cooking. Although I am getting better. The problem is I put the food on and then wander off. By the time I get back it's usually burnt!
A book that changed me. . . The Theory of Reinforced Concrete, which was written by my tutor at Cambridge, Professor Ken Kong.
It made me realise there is more to life than cement.
Movie heaven. . . The Sound of Music, The Godfather.
Comfort food. . . crisps and champagne.
When I was a child I wanted to be. . . an airline pilot or the first woman prime minister.
I wish I'd never worn. . . a green checked jacket on Countdown - I looked like a clown! Actually there are many, many things that I wish I'd never worn.
All my money goes on. . .
clothes, children, holidays.
My favourite building. . . the Cathedral of Notre Dame. I love it, it's so evocative.
If I wasn't me I'd like to be. . . George Clooney: he's intelligent and leads a super single life.
My favourite work of art. . . Michelangelo's statue of David. I didn't know how large it was until I saw it.
