The Chinese Football Association has launched an investigation into the behaviour of the country's Olympic football team following the mass brawl with Queens Park Rangers players.
Seven members of the under-23 side arrived back in Beijing after being sent home from England on Friday for their part in the fight in a friendly against QPR players on Wednesday.
Chinese player Zheng Tao was left unconscious and was hospitalised with a broken jaw.
"Under no circumstances does the Chinese Football Association have any tolerance for such behaviour from our national team players, " said spokesman Dong Hua.
"We will investigate the incident and strictly punish those responsible."
