DETERMINED UCC DASH LIMERICK GIRLS' FOUR IN A ROW DREAMS



UL's hopes of four Ashbourne Cup titles in a row were dashed when a stronger UCC side beat them 4-7 to 1-6 in yesterday's semi-final.

Four first half goals from Sarah O'Donovan, Colette Desmond and Miriam Crowley paved the way for this well deserved victory.

Their opponents in the final will be UCD , who defeated CIT 2-9 to 1-4 in the second semi-final.

The Shield final today will bring together UUJ and Garda who had respective semi-final victories over WIT and the host college NUIG.
