Your own door to easy living
Brenda McNally

SHOW homes opened for the first time this week to coincide with the release of a further 30 units at Parkview in Poppintree, Dublin 11.

Situated in a parkland setting beside the popular Cedarwood development, Parkview is a new development with all the benefits of a mature residential setting.

The first phase sold well off plans last year and strong interest is likely.

A unique feature of this development is that every unit has its own entrance, storage space and double height ceilings.

Just eight kilometres from the city centre, Parkview is comprised of one-, two- and three-bed apartments, duplexes and townhouses set in Poppintree Park, which is currently undergoing significant rejuvenation and will provide a valuable amenity to residents. All the units in this phase have park views and the ground floor duplexes have a town garden. This phase is also due for completion shortly.

Designed by O'Mahoney Pike Architects, the development boasts a very hi- spec fit-out and all the units have bright, spacious layouts.

According to the agent, Parkview offers residents excellent value and a wide range of properties that will appeal to first-time buyers, young families trading up and investors alike.

Once outside your own door, Parkview offers residents easy access to a range of shopping, leisure and sports facilities. Within a 10minute walk of the planned Metro station at Ballymum as well as a good bus service, residents also have access to the city centre, Dublin Airport and the M50/M1.

Situated in a mature residential location, Parkview is also close to a range of good schools, both primary and secondary.

It is also close to Dublin City University and an extensive range of sports pitches, indoor tennis, swimming pool and gym. Choice of shopping includes Clearwater shopping centre, Finglas town centre, Airside Retail Park, The Pavilions in Swords and Omni Park.

The shopping centre at nearby Charlestown is due to open in the autumn, with Dunnes Stores the anchor tenant.
