Zig Ziglar is the Keyser Soze of selling. He's a legend, a machine. A guy who could make you think you really could sell ice to the Esquimeaux. Like a dirty magazine shared amongst teenage boys his motivational tapes for sales people on negotiations have done the rounds for years. Now Ziglar is available for a new generation of sales people in the medium of podcasts.
For those who aren't familiar with Ziglar, it's really worth a listen. Either you'll think it's cornball stuff even the Simpsons wouldn't bother to satire or because you might actually "nd some advice there worth listening to. As a starting point, Ziglar tries to get inside the head of the average sales professional to make them understand that despite the loneliness of the cold call, to be in sales is not to be unworthy of respect. If nobody sells, nobody eats.
