Manpower upgrades HQ

WORKFORCE solutions provider Manpower Ireland has embarked on a Euro500,000 makeover of its flagship HQ on Harcourt Street in Dublin.

The company is also upgrading its Grafton Street branch and in Cork the firm has relocated to new premises.

Renovation work is underway at the Manpower headquarters at 7-8 Harcourt Street and is due for completion this summer. As well as an entire layout overhaul, the company is installing a variety of employee facilities including fuball tables, pool and snooker tables, relaxing beanbags and a staff library. There will also be a designated area offering on-site Indian head massages for employees. When complete, the occupied space will measure 4,550sq ft.

Manpower Ireland offers job seekers and employers complete staffing solutions. Services include permanent and temporary recruitment solutions, training, assessment and selection, outsourcing, managed services and HR consultancy. The company places 2,500 people annually and has over 1,000 contract staff placed with clients at any particular time.

The company is upgrading its Grafton Street branch, and work is due to be completed by June. In Cork, Manpower has relocated to new offices at 67/69 South Mall in the city centre. The total area occupied is 2,422sq ft and consists of a state-ofthe-art working environment including interview rooms, open-plan office space, a spacious boardroom and a fully equipped kitchen.

According to company managing director, Jason Kennedy, the renovation programme is essential to cope with Manpower's continuing growth.

"The company has grown 100% year on year since 2002 and upgrading our facilities is essential to ensure this growth continues.

"Visually, the design team has developed a contemporary and unique environment which will appeal to employees as well as candidates. We are also planning on opening a number of new outlets in key areas nationwide in the coming months and the new design is such that it can be easily and effectively rolled out in all new branches to ensure consistency across the branch network."
