ST MARY'S earned a bonus point after scoring four tries in their against UCD at Templeville Road yesterday. The students opened the scoring after three minutes when centre Fergus McFadden slotted over a penalty. Seven minutes later, Vasily Artimiev touched down, with McFadden converting. The home side opened their account on 19 minutes when captain Gareth Logan touched down, converted by Jonathan Sexton. Then, on 28 minutes, Logan barged over for his second. Just before the break, St Mary's extended their lead when Ronan Doherty went over to leave it 17-10 at the interval. In the second half the side's traded penalties before a Sexton try sealed the win. A late penalty try for UCD was not enough.
