Cabinteely, Dublin 18: from Euro360,000 - Compact, but with impact
Brenda McNally

FIRST-TIME buyers hoping to put their first step on the property ladder on the southside of the city will be delighted with the release of the final section at Brennanstown in the heart of Cabinteely, Dublin 18.

Launched from show units this week, Brennanstown Court Apartments is a small, luxury scheme of just 18 apartments. The final phase includes 13 one-beds and four two-bed apartments all boasting their own door. Almost complete, the development is ideal for buyers hoping to move in before summer as the units are all at snagging stage and will be ready for occupation within six to eight weeks.

Located in a secluded area within the development in three low-density split-level blocks, Brennanstown Court Apartments all have either a balcony or deck; one designated surface car-parking space is included in the price.

Ample car parking for visitors, also on the surface, is another bonus at this development.

Designed with an artist's eye for space and light, the final section features a beautifully landscaped entrance and plenty of professionally landscaped communal areas.

Although compact, what these apartments lack in size they make up for in extras. Special interior features include designer-fitted German kitchens with granite counter tops as well as integrated kitchen appliances; custommade fitted wardrobes; luxury bathrooms with extensive tiling; concealed cistern and granite counter top; thermostatically controlled showers and heated towel rails. These units also feature natural-gasfired central heating with thermostatically controlled radiators.

The entire Brennanstown development is located off the Old Bray Road in a quiet cul de sac, close to the Brennanstown Road. First launched in 2003, the scheme has 230 units in total, comprising townhouses, apartments, duplexes and detached homes in mature, elaborately landscaped grounds.

Brennanstown is excellently positioned within Cabinteely village, with special access to a new QBC giving direct access to the city. Plans are also well underway for the proposed extension of the Luas from Leopardstown to Cherrywood Business Park in Loughlinstown which will bypass Brennanstown.

Residents have a range of local shops and the Cabinteely shopping centre on hand. A new eight-acre linear park at the front of the development links up with Cabinteely Park, providing great leisure facilities for locals.
