PROTECTION FOR UNOCCUPIED PROPERTIES A NEW protection service has been introduced here to guard against the vandalism of unoccupied properties. Camelot Property Management is a 'protection by occupation' scheme which selects responsible people to move into an empty property to give 24-hour security protection.
Camelot director Aidan Devlin explains: "Empty buildings are at risk. It starts with a broken window and degenerates from there, sometimes ending in the total degradation of the property. When a property is occupied it's less likely to become a target of vandalism, therefore you protect its value." Camelot Property Management, 0818 270244;
