The rugby world was in mourning last week at the untimely death of Terenure College RFC legend Liam O'Dea at the age of 53. Liam began his rugby career on the school's under-9s before going on to represent both the school and club at every level.
A regular at Lakelands Park, Liam was due to become president of Terenure College RFC at the end of the current season. Having put in two years as vice president, he was looking forward to taking up the mantle and refused to let his illness detract from his goal. Liam is survived by his wife Pat and children Emma and Alan. Ar dheis lmh D go raibh a anam dhlis.
