Laetitia fancied to claim feature race
LIMERICK PREVIEW Claire Barry

THE Bank Of Ireland EBF Novice Chase is the feature event today and Laetitia, from the Charles Byrnes stable, is the one fancied to oblige in the hands of Andrew McNamara. The seven-yearold mare turned in an eyecatching effort last time and a reproduction of that effort would enable her to take this Grade 3 prize.

Laetitia has hinted at promise since her bumper days and would not be winning out of turn. Haydens First and Sea Diva, who returned to winning ways at Thurles earlier this month, can chase her home.

McNamara has a good chance of doubling up later in the afternoon aboard Timely Prospect in the Mullins Electrical Beginners Chase, while Ballycullen Boy could prevail in the opening Fitzpatrick's Sporting Club Maiden Hurdle at the expense of Gold Cup hero Ruby Walsh's mount Arbor Supreme.

The listed Dawn Omega Milk EBF Mares Novice Hurdle promises to be competitive, with the likes of Pearl's A Singer, Blazing Sky, Chomba Womba and Bronx Girl in the line-up. Tommy Treacy's mount Chomba Womba has been a model of consistency, as has Bronx Girl, but take a chance instead with the Paul Nolan-trained Moskova.

Time To Sell and Jessica Harrington's Hard To Get Ten appear favourites for the Charleville Cheese Handicap Chase, but slight preference is for Harrington's runner.
