HARMISON BACKS WAYWARD ENGLAND DESPITE DESPERATE OPENING

Steve Harmison believes things will "fall into place" for Michael Vaughan's World Cup squad despite their disappointing start. England lost their group opener by six wickets to New Zealand in St Lucia yesterday. But Harmison, who retired from one-day international cricket in December, has backed them. "It's disappointing but the lads will bounce back. The rest of it will fall into place. Watching the batting, I think we just need to get used to batting on those wickets. Hopefully we'll get tuned in to playing on those wickets against the two minnow sides in the next two games because we can get big scores and get some con"dence."
