MUNSTER UNDER-21 FC WATERFORD 0-1 CORK 2-17
CORK crushed a hapless Waterford in the semi-final of the Munster under-21 football championship at Dungarvan yesterday.
The game as a contest was over at half-time when the reigning Munster champions held a 1-9 to no score lead, the goal coming from Colm O'Neill in the 19th minute. At that stage Cork were on top across the pitch and little changed after the break.
Top scorer was Daniel Goulding who finished with a personal tally of 1-6 and go tCork's second goal in the 51st minute.
