WITH skincare, it looks like 'here comes the science bit' may finally be going out of vogue. Hurrah! Beauty brands are going back to nature with the philosophy of if you eat it and it's good for you, put it on your face.

L'Occitane has just introduced their Almond & Apple skincare range. This fruity cleanser, toner and (our favourite) Sweet Peel (Euro29.95) smells like you could eat it and leaves skin looking and feeling fab.

Meanwhile, keep an eye out for Origins Modern Fusion or 'Rice Bran Beauty' (Euro42.50), due to be released next month. Not your breakfast cereal, but a natural exfoliator that does the job without any nasty chemicals.
