ANaward-winning Co Meath pub the Inn Moderation and the adjoining Tighe's Hotel and restaurant are for sale.
The bar, one of the oldest establishments in Athboy, has won a number of recent Black and White pub of the year awards.
The newly-built 11-bed hotel is adjacent to the locally popular Tighe's Steakhouse restaurant.
Carty Property Advisors is asking 3m for the properties which are for sale by private treaty.
The Inn Moderation has traded as a hostelry for three centuries and today's visitor can enjoy the old-world ambience afforded by the authentic bar and traditional furnishings which have adorned the premises for over 100 years.
"It's a pub with a lot of character, " says agent Marie Carty.
"Inside it's dark and there's a wooden beamed ceiling. The walls are decorated with copper utensils, antiques and curios.
"The property is L-shaped with the pub fronting onto the street. You drive through an archway to reach the restaurant and beyond that is the hotel. The hotel was built four years ago and features a function room and 11 en-suite bedrooms."
Athboy is a thriving town which dates back to medieval times. It's located 12 miles west of Meath's county town, Navan, and is within easy commuting distance of Dublin.
