EAGLE Star Life won four prizes at the 14th MoneyMate and Investor Magazine financial services industry awards on Friday afternoon at the Burlington Hotel in Dublin, hosted by Newstalk 106 presenter and Sunday Tribune contributor Claire Byrne, picking up gongs for best investment fund manager and best pension fund manager. The pensions and insurance company also took the honours as insurance provider of the year and for customer service. Joe Gill of Goodbody Stockbrokers was named analyst of the year.
Bank of Ireland was another multiple winner as both best mortgage provider and readers' choice as best financial institution, while New Ireland Assurance also won two awards for best investment fund and best pension fund.
Delta Index took a gong for share trading company of the year, National Irish Bank won a nod for best new product and Invesco took gold for best financial services consultancy.
This was the third year MoneyMate, a provider of fund data and analysis, hosted the awards with Investor Magazine, a financial periodical aimed at Ireland's high net worth investors.
