HOW'S THE FORM?
Compiled by Patrick Horan

BACK FOUR GOALS OR MORE IN TOTTENHAM v READING THIS AFTERNOON 5-2
Odds quoted are from Betfair

Sunday afternoon matches with the Sky Sports cameras present always seem to bring the best out of Spurs. Last season's best game was their fixture with Blackburn Rovers while it's difficult to imagine this year's 4-3 epic with West Ham being topped. It's likely that the home side will have too much for Reading at White Hart Lane today. Reading manager Steve Coppell's comments about European football being more of a trial than a privilege can't inspire confidence and their form has dipped in recent weeks, their last win coming in early February.

Meanwhile, Tottenham have hit a goal rush, scoring 20 in five fixtures until their FA Cup loss to Chelsea. Robbie Keane's (right) suspension for Wednesday night's win over Slovakia means he'll be fresh to add to his recent tally while Dimitar Berbatov has finally let everyone know why Spurs paid so much for and expected so much from him in the close season. With Martin Jol's side at prohibitive odds for the win today and a correct score impossible to predict with a team in such free scoring form, take the 5-2 available with Betfair that there'll be four goals or more and wait to be entertained.

BACK RETIEF GOOSEN EACH WAY TO WIN THE MASTERS 33-1
Odds quoted are from Paddy Power

We shouldn't be surprised, and yet the quote of 5-4 about Tiger winning the Masters still provokes a mild-to-strong expletive. Of course he usually manages to make his ante-post odds look like bet of the week come Sunday evening but at close to evens, the value has to be sought lower down the list. Last year's champion Phil Mickelson is next at 7-1 , but he's having a wildly inconsistent season. His odds are too skinny for what in the age of Tiger really has to be an each-way wager. Ernie Els and Vijay Singh are next but the final member of what was previously described as golf's 'big five' is available at an attractive 33-1. Retief Goosen doesn't have a green jacket but has an auspicious record around Augusta, finishing tied third these past two years. Odds of more than 8-1 for a top-five finish make him worth an ante-post punt. With Power's money back special, if Tiger finishes behind your selection they'll refund your losing bet, setting themselves up for a potentially almighty payout. Probably not though.

Where the money wasn't. . .

BACK ROGER FEDERER TO BEAT GUILLERMO CANAS IN THE SONY ERICSSON OPEN 1.01 (Betfair)

If somebody asked you what constituted the surest of sure things in sport you'd probably suggest Tiger three clear on the back nine on Sunday. . .

Rossi 10 seconds ahead with three laps to go. . . Roger Federer a set and a break ahead. But sport still manages to shock and Federer was beaten after being in such a position in Miami last week. After trading at 1.01 (1100), he was beaten by Guillermo Canas for the second tournament in succession, burning plenty of exchange big hitters in the process.

You know what luck is? Luck is believing you're lucky. . . to hold front position in this rat-race you've got to believe you're lucky Stanley Kowalski, A Streetcar Named Desire
