MG mmmmmmmm. . .

A FAMOUS name in motoring is on the way back. Nanjing Automobile Group has revealed plans to launch four MG models, including a completely new saloon and hatchback.

The Chinese maker has already assembled some TF roadsters at its Longbridge factory in the UK and will start full production next month.

Initially the two-seater drop-top will be offered to British buyers only but it is expected that Europe-wide sales will begin towards the end of the year.

By the autumn motorists will get their first glimpse of the MG3 which is set to be a replacement for the ZR hatchback.

The range will be completed in early 2008 by the arrivalof the MG5 compact saloon, which is set to replace the ZS.
