BACK GALWAY TO BE WINNING AT HALF-TIME AGAINST MAYO THIS AFTERNOON 7-5 It might not have much novelty value, but this afternoon's televised match between Mayo and Galway has plenty of intrigue ahead of the counties' Connacht championship clash on May 20. Last year's league semi-finals threw up an identical fixture, with Galway winning out in McHale Park in a bruising encounter before a motivated Mayo reversed the result at the same venue in the Connacht final. There's rarely much between these sides come the end and today's tie will inevitably have plenty of championship bite. Ger Brady's selection at No 14 is interesting. For somebody who's likely to spend at least part of the match on the edge of the square, he's a big price for first goal at 121. On the other side Michael Meehan (right) seems most likely, having scored two in his last two games and is available at 13-2. But for bet of the day we'll go for Galway to be leading at half-time at 7-5. The Tribesmen have tended to be ahead at the break in recent encounters between these two sides while Mayo have found themselves behind against Kerry, Cork and Dublin this year before O'Mahony worked his dressing room magic at the interval. Expect a tentative start and an early Galway lead.
BACK DRAW-HALF TIME, CHELSEA FULL-TIME v BLACKBURN THIS AFTERNOON 18-5 Odds quoted are from Betfair After a season when many players have played nowhere close to their full potential, when there has been obvious and embarrassing internal strife, when the club has suffered genuine bad luck with injuries and when an end was put to the spendthrift ways that characterised recent seasons, it's hard to believe Chelsea remain on target for an unprecedented quadruple. While Didier Drogba's goals have been vital to the cause, it's been Jose Mourinho's tactical acumen and motivational skills that have brought his side closer to greatness than they've ever been. Today's match is seen as a formality and it's hard to bet against Chelsea, even away from home, but Blackburn's recent dip in form isn't enough to suggest it's going to be easy. In Chelsea's last three wins against Premiership opposition they've been level at half-time. With Blackburn on terms at the interval in their past three games before capitulating, take close to fours that Mourinho makes it to Wembley? eventually.

BACK ZACH JOHNSON TO WIN THE US MASTERS 460-1 (Betfair) We did say avoiding Tiger and aiming for each-way value was the way to go at Augusta and Retief Goosen almost gave us a 33-1 outright winner. Sadly, a chap that few non-Setanta Golf subscribers would have heard of stole the show after being backed at 460-1 on Betfair. Goosen was backed at as short as 6-4 on the day while Tiger was done at 4-6, before wrapping his iron around a tree at the 11th.
