KEANE CONFIDENT SPURS CAN GET BACK INTO EUROPEAN RECKONING

Tottenham striker Robbie Keane is confident of qualifying for Europe again by finishing the season strongly. Spurs were knocked out of the UEFA Cup by Sevilla on Thursday and, with no trophies left to play for, are looking to secure a top-six place in the Premiership. They travel to Wigan today, with Paul Jewell's men scrapping for survival - but Keane and Spurs have their own agenda for the clash at the JJB Stadium. After memorable victories at Besiktas and Bayer Leverkusen this season, the Republic of Ireland captain is determined to get back into the UEFA Cup: "We know we've got every chance of doing it, but Everton and Bolton are ahead of us at the moment, " he said. "All we can do is concentrate on ourselves and get our results, which I am confident we can do. We're looking forward to the Wigan game on Sunday and seeking to get back to winning ways in the Premiership. We are capable of putting a run together of six games to take us to the end of the season. I am very confident we will finish in Europe again somehow."
