THERE'S a buzz going on in other cities about 'pop-up' businesses which arrive on the scene at unspecific times of the year and which only the very few in-the-know people are supposed to find out about. This weekend, designer Helen Cody's POP UP boutique is sure to uncover some serious sartorial treasures. The sale runs from 19 - 21 April and is to be found at Royal Hibernian Way, Duke Lane Dublin 2.
TOP OF THE SHOPS MEN are always complaining that there aren't enough shops for them (and I agree) but hopefully that will all change in the near future.
Recent new-comers to the scene in the city include 'David' in Hibernian Way (which stocks a funky edit of clothes including Buddhist Punk, Parasuco Cult and Danielle Alessandrini; T 01 633 7060)) and All Saints in The Powerscourt Centre.
Further re-dressing of the balance will take place next Thursday on Grafton St when Topman opens its doors in the place of Miss Selfridge. See www. topman. com for more.
