Northern Ireland's Michael Hoey continued his return to top form at the Tessali-Metaponto Open di Puglia e Basilicata, moving into a one shot lead after a third round of three under par 68 took him to 13 under 201.
"I have been doing a lot of good work with my coach, Andrew Nicholson, and I have been improving all aspects of my game over the winter, " Hoey said.
"I am feeling the benefit of it, without a doubt, and I am certainly a better player than when I won the Austrian Open on the Challenge Tour in 2005, but I have to prove that with results."
