HARTLEY WARY OF NAISMITH THREAT AS CELTIC STAND ON BRINK OF TITLE

Celtic midfielder Paul Hartley believes Steven Naismith is the player the Hoops need to watch in today's SPL clash with Kilmarnock at Rugby Park.

The Scotland B striker, who was the Scottish Football Writers' Young Player of the Year last season, has enjoyed another terri"c campaign and his 17 goals have helped the Ayrshire side secure a top-six place in the SPL.

Victory for the Glasgow giants will ensure their second title in succession but Hartley admits the 20-year-old could scupper their celebrations.

"Naismith has been very consistent over the last couple of years. He got the young player of the year award last season and he is in the running again, so he will be one to watch. He's scored 17 goals so far, so we know he is a player on form and we know that he has the ability to put the ball in the back of the net. But we have a number of individual players at Celtic who stick out."
