Ever since Manchester University professors tested some anti-aging skincare products and found that Boot's No 7 Protect and Perfect Beauty Serum ( 23.50) repairs photo-aged skin, the punters in Ireland and the UK have been going mad for the stuff.

Boots pharmacies nationwide have been stormed by crazed women looking to get their hands on the serum and, unsurprisingly, it sold out everywhere within a couple of days.

Boots then had to inform said crazed women that there won't be any more until the end of April.

Wouldn't have liked that task. But they've set up lengthy waiting lists in all major stores and the time is nearly up.
