A phrase I use far too often. . .
'Come on'. It can mean a myriad of things from 'are you kidding me?' to 'let's go'.

I wish people would take more notice of. . .
The way we rape and pollute the oceans. I fear we are getting to the point of no return. You can't just say 'No more fishing'. We have to manage the resources.

The most surprising thing that happened to me was. . .
When my wife told me that she was pregnant in November. We'll have our first child this summer.

A common misperception of me is. . .
That all I had in me as an artist was the character of Brandon Walsh. Once you're in a series for that long, you become that character for people. You have to be diligent and find other projects, to prove to others that you have the chops to keep working.

Cooking. You name it, I can cook it. My favourite is fish. I love to catch it and cook it.

The ideal night out is. . .
I don't go out. If I went to those clubs in LA I'd be the oldest guy in the room by 10 years! I go to people's houses. It's all about dinner. That's how you know you're getting old.

In moments of weakness. . .
I don't have them. People don't have moments of weakness in my family.

Pilot. I was almost a pilot with the royal officers' training programme.

The best age to be is. . .
37. The age I am now. I can't imagine being any younger.
