HEART OF DARKNESS

At some imperceptible point over the last couple of years, chocolate made the crossover from being a nutritionally devoid, guilty pleasure to veritable health food.

Any bar claiming to be made from organic cocoa beans harvested in the rainforests, with a 70% cocoa solid label almost seems on par with a raw salad these days. Call us perverse but it does make us long for some really cheap, nasty confectionary from time to time and we've discovered that anything from Hershey's fills that gap between high end and trailer trash candy. It tastes nothing like European chocolate; it's still that little bit exotic and with something like the Hershey's Pure Dark Chocolate with macadamia nuts and cranberries, you can delude yourself into thinking you're getting at least one of your five portions of fruit a day. www. hersheys. com
