Towering potential in Polish investment
June Edwards

NEWLY released onto the Irish market, the Tower is a stylish apartment complex in Swidnica, southwest Poland.

Being developed by Irish company Polcorn, headed up by Peter Murphy, the 26 apartments at the Tower are set within a former German hotel in the town centre and cost from just 65,000.

Apartments are beside shops, restaurants and other facilities, while close proximity to multinationals like Toyota, Colgate, LG Electronics and P&G means rental potential will be good.

Swidnica is a pretty city, 45 minutes drive from Wroclaw, Poland's third largest city, into which Ryanair flies regularly from Dublin, Cork and Shannon.

In recent years, Poland's economy has turned around, with Polish GDP now the fastest growing in Europe.

Polish mortgages of up to 80% are available for this development, and capital appreciation here is estimated to be around 10% per year.

The property also comes with a guaranteed rental income of 5% per annum. For further information contact Marlborough International, 01-4964134
